Our Design Principles
At the heart of the Business school will be it’s users. Choice in material and tools should be human centric and purposeful, creating a sense of home, belonging, inclusive and diversity.
Material choice – both aesthetic and embodied qualities – should support and promote the buildings sustainability goals.
As an extension to the sustainability goal, materials, finishes and products should be durable, long lasting, and easily maintained, protecting the need for future maintenance effort and expenditure.
The Business School’s
look and feel and the tools and tech within it, should distinguish it as a leader in the field, while supporting
it’s users to achieve the very best outcomes.
The Business School
should inspire it’s users to ‘think big’ by creating experiences that are engaging, fun and encourage varied
participation on multiple levels.
As the Business School
grows and adapts to the it’s new home and the world around it, the building be ready to respond to it’s users evolving needs. Flexibility for users will be key, as will building in longevity and option to adapt, wherever possible.
The building should feel and perform like a professional commercial workspace, so the business community is ready to engage and in turn students are ready to adapt to the market.
